19/DEC/2010: Released MRPT 0.9.3 (aka MRPT 1.0.0 RC1)

Hi all, The next stable release of MRPT is out available for download, and it comes with some important new features:

• MRPT now relies entirely on Eigen (version 3) for matrix and vector classes. Read more on this here.
• Support for Microsoft Xbox Kinect. See mrpt::hwdrivers::CKinect and this page for more details and demo videos.
• Many new functions in mrpt::vision (by F.A. Moreno).
• More efficient rendering of all mrpt::opengl classes thru automatic caching of OpenGL display lists.

And as usual, many bug fixes and dozens of other enhancements and new functions. Refer to the complete changelog. If you use Ubuntu Lucid/Karmic/Maverick, you can directly upgrade MRPT from Synaptics (or aptitude, or the Software Center,...) if you add the MRPT's PPA repository. Enjoy!
