Hi all,
I'm having difficulty getting mrpt to even recognise an recieve data from the Xtion pro live. I have installed using the pre-built binaries for mrpt and PCL and when I run the OpenNi/Nite samples the camera is picked up and works just fine. However using kinect-3d-view and the other exectutables in mrpt they fail to find the camera.
I am a newbie to this and would appreciate some advice very much.

Hi,
MRPT at this time accesses Kinect thru libfreenect, which seems not to support "Xtion pro live" (not directly at least). I will probably add support for OpenNI to MRPT in the near future, it seems the most maintanable choice.
